"โครงการส่งเสริมการกำหนดเป้าหมายการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจกของภาคอุตสาหกรรมเพื่อมุ่งสู่ Net Zero ด้วยวิธี Science Based Target (ระยะที่ 3)"

  เมื่อวันที่ 26 กุมภาพันธ์ 2569 บริษัท ซูมิโตโม รับเบอร์ (ไทยแลนด์) จำกัด ได้เข้าร่วมพิธีประกาศเจตนารมณ์ใน “โครงการส่งเสริมการกำหนดเป้าหมายการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจกของภาคอุตสาหกรรมเพื่อมุ่งสู่ Net Zero ด้วยวิธี Science Based Target (ระยะที่ 3)” ซึ่งจัดโดย องค์การบริหารจัดการก๊าซเรือนกระจก (องค์การมหาชน) หรือ TGO ร่วมกับ ศูนย์ความเป็นเลิศทางด้านพลังงานเชิงนิเวศเศรษฐกิจ (CEEE) คณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ ณ โรงแรมปทุมวันปริ๊นเซส กรุงเทพฯ
  ในโอกาสนี้ นายชาญชัย พรมจรรย์ ผู้จัดการทั่วไป แผนกวางแผนความยั่งยืน ได้ขึ้นกล่าวเจตนารมณ์ในนามตัวแทนของบริษัทฯ เพื่อแสดงความมุ่งมั่นของบริษัทในการดำเนินธุรกิจอย่างรับผิดชอบต่อสิ่งแวดล้อม พร้อมทั้งร่วมผลักดันการกำหนด เป้าหมายการลดการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจกตามแนวทาง Science Based Target (SBT) เพื่อสนับสนุนการมุ่งสู่ Net Zero GHG Emissions ในภาคอุตสาหกรรม
  การเข้าร่วมโครงการในครั้งนี้สะท้อนถึงความตั้งใจของบริษัทในการพัฒนาศักยภาพด้านการบริหารจัดการก๊าซเรือนกระจก เรียนรู้แนวทางการกำหนดเป้าหมายการลดการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจกตามหลักวิทยาศาสตร์ ตลอดจนแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้และประสบการณ์กับหน่วยงานภาครัฐ สถาบันการศึกษา และองค์กรภาคอุตสาหกรรมที่เข้าร่วมโครงการ เพื่อร่วมกันขับเคลื่อนภาคอุตสาหกรรมไทยสู่การพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืนและเพิ่มขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขันทางธุรกิจในระยะยาว.

  On February 26, 2026, Sumitomo Rubber (Thailand) Co., Ltd. participated in the declaration ceremony for the project titled “Promotion of Greenhouse Gas Reduction Target Setting in the Industrial Sector towards Net Zero using the Science Based Targets (Phase 3)”. The event was organized by the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization) (TGO) in collaboration with the Center of Excellence in Eco-Energy and Economics (CEEE), Faculty of Engineering, Thammasat University, and was held at Pathumwan Princess Hotel, Bangkok.
  On this occasion, Mr. Chanchai Promjan, General Manager of the Sustainability Planning Department, delivered a declaration speech on behalf of the Company, expressing its commitment to conducting environmentally responsible business operations. The Company also supports the establishment of greenhouse gas reduction targets in alignment with the Science Based Targets (SBT) approach, contributing to the achievement of Net Zero GHG emissions in the industrial sector.
  Participation in this project reflects the Company’s intention to strengthen its capabilities in greenhouse gas management, gain knowledge on science-based target setting, and exchange insights and experiences with government agencies, academic institutions, and industrial organizations involved in the project. This collaboration aims to drive Thailand’s industrial sector toward sustainable development while enhancing long-term business competitiveness.
